radio knob peeling and cracking

my radio knob is peeling and i just wondering ,if any way i can replace it with new one or E9x knob . I have seen this on couple E39 but no e60

You can just go to the dealership and order a replacement knob. Mine was peeling and chipping apart. With my destructive nature, i picked at it until it fell apart.

how hard is to replace ? do i have to pull the radio out ??

Off topic but my wife wife's X3's shifter is peeling. It's nothing more than chrome tape. Unreal

i used to have audi A6 and interior quality was much more better then any BMWs :thumbsdown:
