hi...i hv logic 7...but car is not delivered. is there a feature on the sound system that increases the volume as the road noise increases with speed? i seemed to hv read that before...pls advise.

Yes, you can set it in Idrive under Entertainment settings...Audio...Speed volume

My 545i hasn't arrived yet either, but it appears in the manual to be available with or without Logic7. Speed Volume is grouped together with basic audio settings like treble/bass and balance/fade.

No idea - but i believe the iDrive says "Speed dependent volume". My guess is that the automatic volume adjustment happens in proportion with speed increase/decrease.
