Radar Detectors with tinted Windows

With all the different types of radar detectors, window tints (ex carbon, crystal, etc) and tint darkness. Have any of you had any issues limiting your radar's accuracy due to tint? I believe I read that depending on the tint you install your key frob may have a harder time unlocking\locking remotely???? 
I see a lot of members have V1's and I've considering switching. I have dark tint all around including several inches in the top of my front window. My tint is 3M carbon. can't recall the % I have but I know the fronts are matching the rear and the fronts are considered illegal.

No issues whatsoever with my V-1, but I use 35% tint.
Tint has no effect on radar and I seriously doubt tint darker than mine would cause problems with laser detection

As long as there is not an abundance of Metal in the tint or the Window you should be Ok.

Cool. I recall the tint place saying to stay away from the tint with a lot of metal in it. Also, I recall having 25% tint. It's so sunny in South Florida.

There's a lot of evidence to support electronic interference with metallic based window films, I don't see how a passive radar detector monitoring for the presence of said signals is not susceptible to the interference if sitting behind a metallic tint. At a minimum I would think your detection range may be affected. Of course most detectors are forward looking anyway, so as long as you don't put the detector behind that strip of tint on your windshield, you should be fine. Locating the detector behind the tint and I think you may risk diminished performance.

I have a V1 and have 5% all around. I was recently driving down to miami behind an M6 with what it looked like 25% and his radar went off at the same time because we both slammed on our brakes.
