rack & pinion help
The indy shop says my rack is going bad and he he's it a lot in the 550i. Is rockauto.com a good place to get one.

My front end has a rattle. I had my bushings changed a yr ago but in the past 2 months I started hearing sounds like I'm running over train tracks. Like a bobble type sound. The indy shop says he tightened some things underneath but when I got new tires last week the bobble is more noticeable. So I went back to the indy shop and for the second time they said my rack & p was bad

Who is this shop in Jax? Sounds like you have gotten some bad guidance from them, by looking at some of your other posts...

Yes, I am east of Jax in Atlantic Beach. Then your Indy must be Carroll Autowerks? Would have expected better from them by reputation.

Well I was gonna take it there next. But the little shop I went to says autowerks isnt that good. The guy I saw use to work at Sam's of parental home rd. And he rents a Lil garage by champion brands he is a Jamaican guy
