Better fuel economy should also even out if there is a price increase. especially with the direction gas has been going.

they are reporting a 12% efficiency in fuel consumption...gas is mad!!!
ps, I know its way less than Europe, but that dont make it right!!!

NO WORRIES MATE!!!! I think most new engines are fairly reliable regardless of manufacturer. There's a warranty anyway and R6 design seems fairly similar to the current valvetronic engine save the electric fan. I'm interested and am deciding to R6 or 545.

Just spoke to a dealer here in Westchester and they said production numbers are already being sold for the 530 with the R6 and/or xDrive for March build. They expect to see a $2,000 to $2,500 price for the xDrive and a price increase of $1,000 or more for the base car because of the R6. I will let you guys no if i find anything else as i plan to see my dealer tomorrow.
