My Ride: 2008 535, Alpine white with natural brown leather, premium package, cold weather package, sport package, fold down rear seats, iPod/iPhone adaptor.
the car I bought has paddle shifters. Does this mean it has the SMG transmission and if so is it equipped with launch control? I read that you have to put it in sport mode, turn off dsc? by holding it down for three seconds and then punching it. I don't see a DSC switch but do have a DTC button. Any advice?

if you have the smaller brake pedal then you have the smg otherwise you just have the sports automatic transmission. Not sure if non m models are equipped with launch control.
