Thumbs up

Hi everyone! i recently acquired an E60 545i 04/MT/nav/BT/ipod IF/V8. i'm currently having fun driving it around, that is why i want to start getting more familiar with it.

1st question- can anyone share the oil change procedure (e.g.where to pull out the filter) and what would be best for oil for winter;castrol 10w-30 or 10w-40? i know that 10w-30 should be good all year round but i just want to get your opinions.
2nd -procedure on how to pull out the lighter assembly (need to install a new assembly)
3rd - how to replace the led for halos and fog lamps (currently checking ebay for white fog lamps)
4th - any one knows a good shop in NJ/NY that installs quality kits ( wrap around-front/back and side skirts) and quad exhaust?

Forgive me for asking basic (maybe stupid) questions but I?m not familiar with German cars and i will greatly appreciate all your inputs. I've posted this question in another forum but I?m not getting the response I?m looking for. Thanks in advance and have a great day!

As for the oil change, check this DIY link.

545i specific:

5w30 is the preferred oil, fully synthetic.

I am pretty sure 5w30 is the preferred oil...or 5w40, fully synthetic.
