Hi there,

I think you might run into problems with the 135/90 as the rolling radius is different. If you were to fit it to the rear, one wheel would be turning faster than the other and it could cause damage to the diff.
Best to stick with the 135/80
WOW. Glad I asked......and thanks for letting me know Singh Sahib.

Does anyone know if the number BPENW 090405 appears on their OEM spare rim ??

Someone is quoting me this as a part number for the rim but yet they are telling me that it is the correct fitment for BMW E60. I know the actual part number is meant to be 6758778, but was wondering if this might be an alternative scribing on the wheel.

If someone could check that would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks Mr Singh.
Are they the number off the actual rim or just the tyre......or both ?? I need to see if one of the numbers on the rim itself says BPENW 090405.

Right there's a number of the same format that you have listed, and on mine it says:
HBVSN 081106

I have a feeling the number could be the date of manufacture maybe?

I'm looking to buy the E60 space saver tyre from an independent tyre dealer. (Don't want to pay $Tea!er prices)
Why not this package?

.

I think you've cracked it Mr Singh. I reckon I've been quoted something other than the part number.
Will contact the seller again.

Singh is Kingh

Each 19" tyre costs about ?250. So if I ever get a puncture, I at least want to have the choice of being able to get a puncture repair.

That white gunky spray stuff you get on a puncture repair kit will mean the tyre will not be repairable.

That's why.
