Hi guys,I am wondering to know as I just picked up a 2006 M5 with Eibach lowering spring.
The Eibach still looks too high for me and I decided to cut the springs rather than buying coilover which cost much more expensive.
Is anybody know whether it will be fine if I cut the spring on my M5?because some people said that they worried the sensor will get affected if I cut the springs.
Looking forward for any helps and ideas.
Thank you so much guys.

r u kidding me? U have an M5 and you want to cut springs???? It's dangerous. The spring rate will be totally off and the bound and rebound it TOTALLY messed up. EDC function is still there since it only controls your struts but you wouldnt want to take a turn and everything will become unpredictable. DO NOT DO IT! Look for some used coilovers here or M5board if you really want to lower it more. The Eibachs should sit decent. DId you wait for it to settle yet?

If you want a lower look but don't want to go coilovers, get the RDSport springs. They're the lowest of the springs for the M5 out there. I had them before I had the KWs and loved the stance. I'm sure you can sell your Eibachs and jump into a different set of springs easily.

BTW, what's the spec on the M5? Looking forward to seeing it; probably at Sonic. haha

Hi bro,how are you doing?swing by at Sonic for sometime.
I will think about the RDSport springs because many people said it is the lowest springs for the M5.
Mine is actually a 2006 Sepang Bronze metalic.
