I just bought the LCI tailights; only thing is one side is US spec and one is euro. I was thinking about modding the turn signals to white leds so they could match. I'm using bruce's v5 cables and just wanted to know if it will work or would I have to sell one side. Thanks.

you can change both to white leds to match whatever you use V5 or V6 cable.

That's funny. I guess you bought them separately. Cosmetically, the lights are identical, except the blinker color. So, you don't have to sell either one. Anyway, bruce's cable should work regardless of the specs. As long as you don't turn on at the same time, like the hazard lights, you should be ok. If you do, it'd just look funny. That's all.

Modding the LED to white would be awesome. Go for it.

I thought there was a thread that was mentioned that besides the color, there is another difference?

I was under the idea that the Euro LCI tails has rear fogs that can be turned on? Bruce can you confirm this?

If its like MB and Audi the rear fog is just the ONE left brake light that can be turned on so you can be seen in heavy fog or rain. I don't think North American spec cars have the proper headlight switch to turn it on. MBs all have a headlight switch that pulls out to a second 'stop' that turns on the so-called 'fog' light.

Kev, let me know if you want to do this mod. I'll hook you up. Same day turn around time and it'll take roughly 2-3 hours top.

There is absolutely no difference besides the colour of the Turn LEDs between the EU and US LCI lights.
