Hey does anyone know how to remove the rear deck lid or a DIY link as I searched but didn't find any or even on google. Looking for instructions how to remove the rear deck lid. As I need to get to the rear truck hindges to tweak it a little to get my vis carbon csl trunk fitted better.


If it matters I have the auto rear window shades.


Hope you guys can help me as of now i kinda hate the vis carbon trunk becuase of the bad fitment.

The fitment of the VIS trunk is about 98%...its not fitting that well because the OEM spring attached to the trunk is WAY too strong for the light cf trunk. Go to home depot and get a spring like this on each side:

SPECS: 1" x 8.5" x .120"

Everbilt 1/4 in. x 1-1/2 in. and 11/32 in. x 1-7/8 in. Zinc Plated Extension Springs (4-Pack)-16086 at The Home Depot

Oh nice! Okay thanks bro! So one side is a spring and one side is a shock. So just replace one side with the Home Depot spring. do i remove the shock and spring off and replace it with the hd spring or leave shock and install hd spring and remove stock spring off the shock? Thank

Replace both with the spring Take off the shock as well.
