Q: Can you shift to N from P while engine turned Off?

can you shift to N from P while engine is off on a 2006 E60 Auto with push start?

maybe if you have the key in the ignition with foot on brake?

not to sure though...

That doesn't work on my car...

There's probably some way to do it manually though -- I'll have to do some digging when I get some more time. Maybe I should just

Page 64 of the manual (or page 66 of the .pdf) explains the process of manually unlocking the transmission lock.
