A week ago i traded my good old trusty g35 and picked up a 2010 535 M-Sports, SAT, Premium, Nav, Comfort Access, all of the bell and whistles. I immediately fell in love with the car!!

Unfortunately, an elderly lady decided to ignore the red light and barreled though the intersection earlier today :angry::cry::angry::cry::angry::cry:

The car is currently at the body shop waiting for the insurance companies to duke it out.

Picture of the G and the damaged E60 :fcuk:

I was going to give her a nice fresh detail before taking official pictures

Apparently I can only post 3 pictures... Here's another from the passenger side.

Oh man, sorry to hear.

Are you hurt by the accident?

I think I got a little something in my eye

Hope you're alright!

Wow, that so sucks! I felt like that when I dropped like $5,000 into my Ram, a week back from Afghanistan and a girl hit me...on Friday the 13th...

That's terrible news about the car but great news that you're not hurt! B)

The car can be fixed...thankfully it protected you from physical damage but unfortunately, it couldn't protect you from the emotional damage...

The car was definitely solid, i'm glad i was able to walk away without any serious injuries. I have some whiplash and my body is pretty sore and stiff, but i'm alive.

Dropped the car off at a reputable shop with bmw certified technicians to work on... hopefully they fix it so it looks and drives like nothing ever happened.

I keep hearing people say it will never drive the same :( but i'm hoping it does

This does seem to be the common consensus but I was involved in a serious highway accident in 2010 and the repairs to my 08 535i were perfect with no visible signs and definitely no rattles or groans and the car was 100% like new.
As a suggestion, have the car checked over by your BMW dealer before you accept it back. Insurance should cover it in the auto body bill.
Glad you appear to be relatively unscathed. My wife and I were completely uninjured.
