hey guys whats going on, i am a new member here at 5 series forums, i recently just purchased my first bmw and i love it. Its a 2005 530i, i have a little issue though, i wanna see if any of you guys can help me out. My car does have factory equipped xenon projectors, when i turn my car on and the lights turn on i see them perfectly aligned because they reflect off my garage door. However as i am backing out my right projector light starts to move up and down ( adjusting i guess) but as i drive off they dont seem aligned on the road. My right hand side projector stays up while the left one remains as when i turned the lights on both give me a nice clear view of the street but i dont wish to be blinding anyone with the one pointing way up, how do i fix this?

Have a look at the cover on the back of the headlight. If the latch tabs are broken and the cover is hanging there loose, there's probably water in the headlight. The control circuitry is down at the bottom. This happened to me. If that is what's wrong, you probably have a trip to the dealer or indy shop coming up. I don't think I could have fully diagnosed it by myself, and there's coding involved if you have to replace the circuit boards.
