Man your car set up alone is awesome not to mention the nitrogen set up. I think we have the same color 550 I rarely see this color around. Where'd you get the quads done??

Thanks man! I had my dual exhaust custom built at a local speed shop.... A word of caution though, unlike the e60 M5s, the 550i has an actual spare tire so the recessed cavity for that tire runs VERY close to the battery box. It's a little tricky to mount the muffler high enough between the spare tire cavity and battery box so that you can't see the muffler from behind the car. I had to "notch" the right muffler to make enough room (see photo). No reason to modify the left side as there's PLENTY a room...

With the upgraded, added Muffler and larger Pipes; does all the Exhaust Pipe system add what 10-18 mph? Any estimate on that! And what size Pipes did you upgrade too Sir? Thanks Very Clean.

Thanks! Yeah, I defiantly felt a performance gain when I installed the exhaust system not to mention it sounded WAY better! I would estimate 8 to 10hp on the conservative side. I used 2.5" stainless steel pipe from the cats back.

I got my OEM spoiler from Tuner Motorsport. It was $221 unpainted.

Yeah, based on all the cars I've raced, I would estimate 0-60 in the low 4s.

Very nice ride. I didn't see anything mentioned about an LSD. Are you finshed with the car for now ? If not, what are your future plans?

Are you referring to Limited Slip Differential? If so, I haven't done anything to the rear axle...

Yeah, I think I'm done with the car (finally). Thought about putting performance shocks on it, but haven't pulled the trigger on those...

My CPO is having my Upper Engine rebuilt. I had a oil leak at Gasket at Head right side some where and dealer is doing a $6800 rebuild with seals and all components in the mix. Just had it for a week from dealer super clean all original with 50k miles. Princeton BMW said they will rebuild it. No other indicator warning lights other than a small drip at right rear Valve gasket on Exhaust. The car may have been tracked but since the previous owner was 60, garage kept, has had other bimmers; we feel it was treated with kid gloves considering the chassis, undercariage, wind shield, rubber foam door and hood gaskets, leatgher seats, cabin, all services were done timely, and all body are so clean.
.
Nice to see a N62 V8 making and taking this power! Congratulations.
Dang, thats a lot of engine work! Glad to hear the dealer is covering it though...

Yeah, I'm estimating low 4s based on some of the cars I've raced. Thanks for the props!
