progman v25 upgrade

what sort of cost would i have to pay to get my software updated running a e61 525d at moment dealer where i bought the car wouldnt upgrade the software for me so will try and find another dealer to do upgrade just not sure what type of costs would be?thought about 4hrs at whater ??? per hour sound right?

My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed
If you're still within your original manufacturer's warranty there are a few "problems" you can report, which should get you a free update.
If you already tried for a free upgrade with your supplying dealer, it would look a little iffy to get back and report those problems now, but you could always try

My Ride: BMW 545iA Black Sapphire

Engine: 545i
in Holland an on demand out of warranty software update is around 250euros, although I've heard of a dealer in Eindhoven charging 500euros for it..whole thing is a rip-off.. :thumbsdown:

Go at your dealer and make complains about windows anti trap function faulty every other day, or radio "sometimes" suddenly turns off,
then you should get a free S/W update.

A list of 'upgradeable' faults would be useful for when it next goes in guys.
So far :
Anti-trap keeps causing windows to go up and down
Radio Dies?
Problem seems to be that they need to replicate the problem before they will do the upgrade. I was told BMW have been cracking down recently on upgrades etc.

Faults get cured (and introduced) in each new version.

thanks guys they are fast responses will give the window one a try the service dealer is different to the dealer i purchased the car from,only regular fault i have at moment is the puncture warning about 4 times in 6 weeks of ownership so might try both faults at same time

I went in with the standard list: disc run on in cd player (cd and track different next time car is entered and player turned on)
system locks up, has to be rebooted
rough cold idle
bluetooth drops and has to be re-paired
after 2 days in the shop, with a 330 loaner, I get my 550 back -
