I am a new to me owner of a 2004 545 Sport (Jet Black). I am wading through the helpful posts to determine if there is Bluetooth capability. I have confirmed the TCU version and it appears to the latest one. However, I am now trying to find out where I can confirm the mfg production month/year. Can someone point me in the right direction?

There are one or two stickers inside the drivers side door frame, one with recommended tire pressures and the other has place of manufacture as I recall. On that one it will have month/year the car was built. Haven't looked at it in a long time but mine says Jan/04 or something to that effect...

You can also call BMWNA 800 831-1117, give them the last seven digits of your VIN, and they will tell you not only the month and year your car was built, but also the day.

It would help to know where you are located. The stickers are not on all E60's...

Thanks iceman. I am in Pennsylvania and I believe my 545 was purchased new in Lancaster PA. I have looked in the door jams to no avail. Another post provided the BMWNA toll free num. I am gonna try that next. THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLIED.

Toll free number works great or if you have a relationship with a dealer, they can tell you as well. Good luck!

I have my build date sticker under the hood close to the windscreen on the RH side of the car.
