My Ride: BMW 535d, Titanium Gray Metallic, Auburn Dakota Leather, Poplar Wood Trim, Executive, Vision line, Heated sport seats, Star Spoke Style 122, HiFi 10 speakers, nokia ck-7w
With my 535d it is possible on a dry road, from 0-100 km in just under 7 seconds.
On a wet track I can't compete with a 120d, he is faster to the 100.
It is not a faster car, he only has more traction.
Anybody has an idea what the problem is.
- winter tires (I don't have them)
- weight
- automatic transmission
- drivers skill
- anything else?
Or was it just an extremely fast 120d

Also, the tire size. I take it you have 225's at mimimum, while a 120d usually has 205...

Try turning off traction control - all the way.
I noticed when at a driving school that the car limited my acceleration when the pavement did not give me 100% grip.
With traction control off (press the button for 5 plus sceonds) I was able to accelerate faster and corner faster ...
