i have been having this wierd problem with my radio & CD changer lately. the sound is perfect till out of no where, it goes away completely for couple of seconds and then it comes back and resume playing. this happens no matter what the source of the sound (doesnt matter whether radio, cd changer of the navigation dvd slot) i have been trying to find the pattern in which this problem occur but i dont think there is a pattern to it. its completely random. but it is a presisting problem.

i thought i'd share it with you guys before i take it to the dealer to take a look at it. specially that i dont think ill be able to demonstrate the problem forthem, again, since it happens randomly.

if it helps, i have the business nav. and bluetooth phone connected.

any semilar experiences? or ideas on why this is happening ?

A lot of people have had this problem, including myself. Many found that it was a bad TCU module and had to have in replaced. Also, you may want to try enabling your RDS function, for a couple members, including myself, that is all it took and the problem went away.

I have this problem after a software upgrade (not sure what version I have). I notice it only when radio on presets. Radio functions normally in manual and all stations mode. Not sure the connection with RDS; I"ll have to look into it.
