hi guys

ive got a 530d se manual 2005 55 plate, alls great with the car but ive come up with a annoying problem. yesterday whilst driving i stopped the car and went to put it in reverse and i got an error flash up "start assist inactive" ive had a bit of a google but cannot find anything definative, as when people get this error they get another error with it to do with the steering/suspension.

now ive only got this error. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas what it could be. i know its the hill start option as the car doesnt hold anymore it just rolls back.
Im a little clueless to this


any advice or sugestions would be amazing
