My car sat for the last 3 days never moved.

I have media pack with pro nav.

I drove it home tonight I got the car service ramp thing come on, there was no NAV screen, music, lights on the CD player I got the SOS no service message & my heater was off. I never switch it off.

After around 5 mins everything came on but I was left with the SOS message.

I stopped the car for around 5 hours went back and the very same happened again ( apart from the heater it was on auto as normal ) but the SOS has cleared after around 15 mins

I have checked my error messages and I have none & my service screen they all say OK.

Until 3 days ago never had a problem.

Any ideas?

I might replace mine just to be safe, I had the "abnormal discharg" warning thing on my ID whilst sat waiting for the wife one day at the supermarket with the radio on..........

Ya-sounds like a dead cell on your battery-take it in to your dealership where they can do a quick diagnostic on it. If it is the battery, follow the link in this site to a DIY repair. Will save you mucho money...

I think you can reboot the idrive by pressing both the eject buttons of the ccc together or is this a myth?
