I see on the latest South African price lists a new 550i A/T Sport package with no extras costs ZAR729,200 which, if you take the currency rate of ZAR9.21=US$1 in account, equates to about US$79,174.
Do you guys think we are paying too much?

For my current car, a 2005 525i A/T with +/- 35,000 miles on the clock, I paid the equivalent of US$28,000.

Oh, and we pay the equivalent of US$1 per litre for gas. I don't know what the conversion rate is from litres to gallons, but you can make the sum.
