Previous owner put LEDs on my side mirrors only?

My Ride: 2007 550i Automatic, Gray in color, two axles, four wheels, brakes
Just bought a 2007 550i, and all of the interior lights are the standard "incadescent yellow" bulbs. That is, except for the courtesy lights that shine down from my side mirrors, which are LED and white. Is this standard for the mirrors, or did the previous owner change the mirror bulbs to LED, and leave all the others (including door sills) incadescent yellow?

My Ride: 2006 550i Jet Black, matte black grill, red Rpi ram air scoop, gloss black stock wheels, acs trunk lip spoiler, darkest CA legal tint on all windows, tinted tail.
That's how BMW made them
