BeeWang posted this picture in another web site. It shows the m sport package much better thanks to the lighter color of the car and I guess mother nature helps a little bit with extra sun at that moment.

Very nice pic.

I think BMW should have used 18x9 wheels for the rear. That would have made it a complete sport package IMHO.

I respect your opinion, but disagree. I believe this package would be extremely successful in the US if it makes its way here. I personally love the look. As for being an M5 wannabe, I think alot of people "wannabe" driving an M5, but 90K is not in everyone's budget.

I agree with you. 18x9 wheels for the rear should be a must for the M sport package. Hopefully they will do it for the USA market !

So, are those wheels all-round instead of staggered?

nomad 10-08-2004 07:46 AM

The Sportpack wheels are 18x8 all round. Even the very popular style 124 have 18x9 rear.

If they bring out a 18x9 135M wheel, I'll buy a set for the rear, but I don't see BMW doing that. Not even for the US market.

Think I'll look into what's available from other manufacturers. :shifty:

Nice post you can really tell the M package on a lighter color

Is that clear eyebrow come standard on the M pakcage or is that just standard in other countries besides the states

my530i 10-08-2004 08:54 AM

There is no way you can can get clear side eyebrow in US due to DOT requirement here. If you look at all car driving around, you'll see every single car has yellow/orange side reflector next/inside headlight housing.

For the red reflector, it was not approved because it is visible on the side.
