hiya, uright guys?
urmmmmm i drove for about 600 miles yesterday, with a two hours brake in between. then i got home, and since i love my car so much, even after those 12 hours of driving i haven't had enough of it, so i put my foot down and went and met up with my friends ... in the way, a warning message popped up on the screen notifying me of loss in tyre pressure ... so this morning i took my car to a carage, and the guy told me that it dropped by a single bar, i believe this means just a little bit, and its really unnoticable ... so i put the pressure back to normal, and then sat the computer again ...
waiting for it to either behave like a good lad or screw me up and cost me 200 pounds to replace, anyway, should the tyre go down in pressure after a long trip? even by a little bit?
cheers

If anything, pressure should go up on a drive since air pressure increases as the tires heat up. Thats why you should only manually check your tire pressure when they are cold. It could just be coincidence that your warning popped up. Virtually all tires lose pressure on a regular basis, once again confirming that you should check cold tire pressure once a month at least. I have had some tires rarely lose pressure and others lose pressure regularly. Also check your tires for any damage after a long trip.
