Default Pre-LCI OEM m5 bumpers, fenders and mirrors on LCI 535i

I have a chance to get all OEM m5 body panels

the are from an '06 m5,

will any of that fit my LCI 2008 535i?

can i modify it to fit?

i think the mirrors are power folding, can i have that feature activated even though i dont have it now?

Given enough money it can be made to work. I also know that most frown on dressing up something that it is not. Ultimately it is your car, your choice. The mirrors would have to be coded but since you don't already have that then you would also need the motors and wiring to make them work.

i didnt ask if people will frown

and whats wrong with having m bumpers and fenders? I see Umnitza even made a business on selling aftermarket M5 and M-sport bumpers.

what motors would i need to make the mirrors that already have the motors that fold them back fold?

do you know anything about this or did u just come here to piss on my parade?

Bro you could have just emailed me. So if the parts, I'm assuming f&r bumpers and side skirts, are OEM the side skirts will fit with no problem. The front bumper will need some work done to fit since the OEM M5 bumper is approx 10mm wider to match the flared front fenders. It can be done since that is what part of my bumper is made from, a OEM M5 bumper. The rear you will need a couple of different side and rear guides to make it fit right but nothing major. As for the mirrors there are many that have retro'd M5 mirrors onto non-M E60's so it isn't difficult. Did someone salvage a M5 you know?

I am so happy u posted, thank u

What worries me the most is that all those parts are from a non facelifted car. I think the mirrors have different wiring from a facelifted car.

And I am getting the fenders also, should that make mounting the front bumper easier?

Yeah if you get the M fenders then yeah it should install with no issues. Be sure to get the brake ducts and lower grill since they are different from the LCI bumper.
