hi there all,i hope someone can help. i have a 2005 with bruce cables and lci tails on the back.
on the front i had a someone from another forum connect lci halogens with hid kit to my car, by rewiring and using resistors about a year ago. basically all was fine until about 6 months later on i started to get intermittent failure messages, usually park light failure left side front. i guess it was the resistors failing, the message would come and then clear itself after a while. i was concerned that what has happened now would occur eventually, i now get park light front left failure on start up permanently. unfortunately the forum member who did this has moved on and i cannot get any help. i suppose the resistors left side need changing, im not sure if they failed due to cheap components or thats their regular life.
my question is, does anyone know the correct resistors to use for this job and how many per side and how they should be wired. i dont like the error messages and want it perfect, also anyone know any auto electrician in south east UK who would be able to help with this as im not confident myself.
thanks.
