Right, minor stuff this but so far I have seen that on starting the car, the strip below the i-drive compass points fails to display the current playing source.



This is sorted when you cycle through the sources (e.g with a programed steering wheel button)

Am I bothered by this?: No

I don't have this problem. The tracks or radio station that I am plays shows up fine. So far the only problem that I have is: I keep the map up in the small window of the I-Drive and sometimes it changes to the trip computer. Nothing I can't live with.

Is this a post the can be put on the sticky? If BMW reads this site, maybe it will help them with the next upgrade.

Yep that's another one come to think of it, my screen also reverts to the computer (previously it was on the small map)

HAS ANYONE NOTICED BETTER AM RECEPTION AFTER INSTALATION OF V12?

IF NOT THAN I WON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS UPDATE.

Just back from Dealer with V12 installed.

1) Now lowers radio or Cd when Nav instructions are given
2) Lost "auto" in the climate section.
3) both steering wheel buttons now programable
4) RDS- still not working!
5) Still problem with BMW V60 phone. Will not let me use the "SAVE NAME" command for voice phone book!

Anyone have problem 4 and 5? My dealer has no clue!
