PDC is a great thing. If ever there is a bike, package or even a child the warning is a great thing. Like anything else, it can be a great tool if you know how to use it.
Every now and then it will miss the occassional rock, however.

I cannot fathom why anyone would want to disable the PDC. There are some who don't have the feature and pay to retrofit it. Its just great.
The only set-back is that now I cannot drive a car without it. I actually reversed someone's car into the wall recently. (very slight damage) Needless to say, that car was not fitted with the PDC

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but when you see the picture of your car when PDC goes on, is it the same color as your car?
My PDC car is Silver Grey, which matches my paint.
Or is everyone's PDC car Silver Grey?
I just paid a lot extra to get it. Didn't everybody? I'd hate to pay that much and then disable it.
Kyle325ci, I'm with you - find it more annoying than useful. Two cars in the garage - beep, beep, beep. I have a steep driveway - beep, beep, beep. I park underground at work - pillars - beep, beep, beep. I hit the kill button 99.9% of the time, just like the lawyer message. It is useful, rarely for me. I would just like the ability to turn it on or off, not to much to ask.
The PDC is just great, can't park without it in HK since this is a pretty big car. Just stop when you hear constant tone, perfect everytime.
