Arrrrrgh!
Here I go again
Even the 545i doesn't have LSD!? This is a definite ?

It is the ONLY thing that may prevent me from getting another E60
unless I pony up the $$ for the almighty M5.? ?

Listen to the (vrrrroooooommm!) in your sig again. It is a wonderfully soothing sound--especially on a good sound system. ~{:^) I hooked my laptop to our bedroom sound system, which is not bad, and the vrrrroooooommm! sounded great.

Thanks donv,

Trust me, I Love my 545i but I really hate the fact that a car of this caliber doesn't have a limited slip! I can't wring all 10/10ths out of the car. Either I am at the mercy of all of the electro-gizmos or I'm spinning one wheel (a-la '74 Chevy Nova). Granted for many, if not most, 9/10th's is more than "enough" but it does irritate me.
I actually find that it can create some unsafe conditions as the car is far less predictable at the limit.

Time for me to get off of my soapbox and sell a few more houses so I can get an M5.

UR welcome. I understand what you are saying. I'm just an old fashion straight-line racer with a step tranny--although I have done two Bounderant (sp?, can't remember) courses. So, I don't miss LSD any. But, I would like to be able to turn traction control off completely and leave yaw control on completely. Oh well. Sell more houses? Definitely yes!!!!! M5? Definitely yes!!!!!

I feel you...wouldn't a lsd come in handy on the 535d also? Under the force of all that toruqe i easily find one wheel smoking under high speed cornerin and both when powersliding

No powersliding (drifting) without an LSD.
