I love black cars, they look big, expensive, and important. Plus, black looks good forever. You look at an old 911 or 5-series. It always looks good in black. Never ages.

I picked sapphire black as it gives the car real presence for want of a better phrase. Other people have remarked that makes the E60 look imposing and expensive which is fine by me because it was .

Black is Jet Black. Everything else is black with something else in it. The sapphire is slightly lighter, and a slightly better dirt color. The Jet black looks the best when really clean though IMO.

Titainium Grey...

Easier to care for than black and it thought it would be less common than Titainim Silver but I was wrong.

In Seattle it seams to be an even split between silver and grey.

I picked mystic blue with beige interior. It looks just like the cover of the brochure, even though that's not mystic blue. How's that for originality? I get a lot of complements on it. I lease so resale is not that important to me.

Titanium Silver because i'm lazy to wash it every other day and when the car is dirty it's not that noticeable.

Titanium Gray, because it was the darkest gray color.

Titanium silver looks like a rental car. Silver Gray is better, but I prefer the titanium gray more.

Plus, I have the only titanium gray E60 that I've ever seen on the road. So I feel like I have a rare car.

A silver rental E60 in Europe or Overseas yes but a silver 545i in Brooklyn, I don't think so.
