Ouch...sorry about your car. Hopefully everything gets fixed on his expense.

You must be disgusted.... I think you can get that fixed pretty well at a good body shop. Or bring it to the dealer...so you will get a very good paint job IMO.

ohhh and if it's on his expense...get the panel!!

It doesn't look too bad...from a repair standpoint. I would think a body shop can repair it.
I am guessing the other guy's insurance is taking care of it?

+1 that hurts my eyes seeing that. Thats the sad thing is I think we are all the same, they may be able to fix it at the body shop, but you as the owner will always know its there, I hate that feeling. Anyway I couldnt tell by the pics if that was the front or rear of your car. If it was the front, dont let them repair the front fender, get a replacement fender they way you dont have any bondo or any of that crap on there, if its the rear quarter panel, then you really have no choice but to have them repair it.

They will use Bondo and sand the surface before painting over. It will take a few days. I am sure his insurance will cover it but it will be at least $1500-2000 I guarantee cause they have to re-paint the whole surrounding area (not spot painting) and blend in. But Body Shops are so good these days and the color computer match is 100%, so you won't be able to tell the diff.
