Poly diff mounts = more noise?

Since I will have the diff out in a month or so (530D, 100 000km) I was wondering two things:

1. Do the diff mounts fail often so it makes sense just to change them anyway
2. If I use powerflex will I hear more cabin noise

Only talking about the diff bushes - not the subframe bushes.

I'll change the guibo in any case.

Cheers

I would think subframe mounts would have much more effect on NVH than diff bushings.

Have you seen many failures?

diff bushings on E60? I haven't heard of much of it, might be a good question for a pro to see if that's something they're seenig on a regular basis. my guess is no.
