i think #15 & #16 are the best features.......like ur locked in and i feels awesome....im not sure if u guys are aware but i think only in the M versions these side lumbars actually comes into play and grips u into position when u make drastic hard turns, feels almost like a glove!!!!
I agree i love 15 and 16..those side bolster supports are awesome. I have them hug me to the max so im totally locked and ready to drive. Fantastic option. 5 and 6 take some getting used to as the top half of the seat bends to the contour of your upper thoracic spine and shoulders. Looks funny and havent determined if its all that necessary.

A few months in to owning my 535, the seat developed a squeak. Took it in to get it looked at, they "kindly" fitted a new seat frame - AND LOST MY SETTINGS!!! Had to start all over
You know you can download your seat memory settings to a PC through iDrive using Bluetooth...

You can't do that...I just couldn't resist though...

After losing my settings a few times and seeing others had too, it reminded me of my address book in my phone. I keep it backed up on my PC....and thought "wouldn't THAT be a cool idea"...to be able to upload/download your settings (seat and others) to a PC. I feel bad....I apologize....

There should be a way to lock your settings. Everytime i valet (not that often), they change the settings and ALWAYS hit & save into memory
Give them the other key (and if you don't have it, get it from the dealer). The memory settings and positions change with each key - essentially giving you 2 programmable memory settings PER KEY. Let them BS with one. When you get your car back, swap keys and you'll have your settings

One or two weeks? Try 7 months & two E60's with these seats....and still counting the time till I get comfy. I have yet to find the perfect position or anywhere near it. My back aches every day after getting out of the car, and I've tried every possible combo! I hate 'em!
+0.5
I've had my car for one year TODAY and still haven't found the sweet spot. (Good thing it doesn't take that long for me on women! ) I don't find the seats all that comfortable or deserving of all the praise they get. However, I don't have back aches when I get out. I do get a little fatigued on long drives in them, though.

BTW, call me crazy, but sometimes I could swear I feel the seat surfaces (mainly the seat extension and bolsters) moving on their own sometimes!

I'm glad you posted this! I thought I was going crazy when I felt my seat do this. Mine is more around the back/lumbar support area.
