With 5-7 inches expected tonight, tomorrow will be a fun day to take the xi out with it's new shoes. Can't wait!

I just did with the wife coming home from dinner (already an inch on the ground). She was freakin' out! I was passing cars and taking turns hard. One word...AMAZING! I can't wait to wake up in the morning and take it out before I head to work. It's going to be like Christmas tonight when it comes to getting up and opening presents the next morning when you were a kid. LOL!

 

It's fun when you get to use something you give to your ride. I just put the angelibright 2.0 on the car and they look sweet!

Lovin' my winter tires as well and the snow is a blast (could do without the ice), but I am looking forward to getting 18" PS2s for the summer!

 

Funny you say that. So today, the wife and I were out in the Hamptons doing some antiquing (her thing, not mine). Anyway, on our way home a 545 is in front of me at a stoplight, getting ready to enter the highway. It's dusk and I have my AIB's on and my HOEN fogs, but no xenons on. He totally notices me behind him and speeds up to let me pull around as we enter the highway. He then pulls behind me and notices my rear white LED rear lic plate bulbs. Haha! Now that he's behind me, I notice that he too, has his fogs and his stock angel eyes on, but no xenons on. However, his set-up is pure stock (amber color) and he notices that my look is pure white. He keeps driving back in front of me and then behind me (keep in mind we're doing about 95mph together), so I play along to show off my mods (It's like being a proud father. LOL!). Finally, he exits 20 minutes later and gives me the thumbsup as he exits. I'm sure had we been on local streets, he would have rolled down his window to ask about my lights/mods and I would have said 6 letters to him............"E60.net"!

Moral of the story is..........................WE NEED E60.net cars to hand out to people!

Seriously though, I might just print some cards on my home computer and keep them in my car. I get questions all the time when I'm out and about and the wife is so sick of hearing me tell new people about my mods and how I did it. Hahaha! I'll just slip them a card and say, "Have a nice day"!

 

I realize that -- I was just making it easier for the people who didn't see that thread before to find it now and figure out what you were referring to...

 

It is fun to play on the roads when you find you find a kindred soul. I'm looking forward to running into Rudy on the turnpike somewhere and giving a knowing nod.

Antiquing, huh? I guess it would be an excuse to drive the bimmer in the country!!!
