The headrest will NOT work on any seat other than the Comfort Seats.

Here is another person who retrofitted the pillow headrests onto sport seats.

I find the best part of the comfort seats to be the upper articulation of the seat back and the myriad other adjustments.

Comfort seats....a "must have" option
The head rest is great, but the ability to adjust the upper back portion of the seats is FANTASTIC. As far as I know, the sport and standard seats don't have the upper back adjustment.

I love the headrests. When I make those long drives down to Atlantic City to fulfill my gambling problem , I throw my head back and position both sides so my head is wrapped completely into the head rest. It's great. My wife does the same on the passenger side too. Just need to make sure neither of us fall asleep at the wheel. Last time I checked, the car doesn't come with an Auto-Pilot option or does it? K.I.T.T????

I'm sure I'm the minority here but on Friday, I was given a loaner, an 07 530i with the comfort seat option and I didn't like it at all. Granted, I only drove it for a few hours but I was happy to be back in my sport seats at the end of the day. Just my opinion of course.
