Default Picture Request (E60 w/ MTech and OEM or aftermarket 18in wheels)

Hey guys - looking for an E60 (preferably AW) with the MTech sport package but stock 18inch 124s...

Also would be interesting to see an E60 with MTech and aftermarket 18inch wheels. I'm not quite sold on 19inch wheels yet especially since my current tires have plenty of tread left. Want to see if that extra inch for 19s is worth the $$$

Is it pretty much just for aesthetics that you would go from 18s to 19s or is there an actual performance gain?

Looks good! I think as of right now I'm leaning towards keeping the 18in 124s I have and adding the MTech package. Hopefully more people will post some pics

19" OEM 166's, though this is with stock bumpers. I really like the way it drives much better with the bigger wheels, and staggered setup! This is on stock Sport suspension.

I have plenty pics of mine with Mtech and *18" 124's but my recent purchase of 19" 218 makes the car so much more sporty looking! The wheels fill the wells much better and looks like it's supposed to be.

I do have to say that the car feels slightly heavier, but after 2 weeks got used to that and am so happy with my 19 inchers!

I bought my set used and cost me less then 2 new 18" Michelin rear tires. Will post pics when I have a pc within reach!

This is how I bought it, standard bumpers with 18" style 124. They came as standard with Sport Package.

Winter setup, 17" style 244.

Recently found a shop that was able to mount a Mtech package and adjust the diffuser at the back so that it was possible to keep my electrical tow hitch.
So this makes it a E60 with M pack and 18"styling 124 with 245/40 ZR18.

As you can see, the wheels don't really match the fenders, it looks to small.

After many doubts I bought a set of 19"styling 218 (6-series) which look sporty but still classy in my opinion.

So happy that I made this decision, the car looks way better. The ET value of these wheels is 14 in stead of 20 which is standard, this means the wheels are a little bit more to the outside of the car, so no spacers needed to get the right looks. It's also because it's a staggered setup and I run 245/35 ZR19 in the front and 275/35 ZR 19 in the rear.

Happy!

Eugh! That just looks really, really wrong! They are missing the concaveness of the oem design. 166 needs to be in 19" minimum!
