I'm looking for a couple of high-res pictures.

The first picture I'm looking for is of the front end of a E60 with the M-Tech kit. The area I'm most concerned with is the area around the front head light and the front kidney grill. I recently got the M-Tech Kit installed and I'm interested in how much gap there should be between the inner area of front headlight and front fender + grill. The installer insists the front fender fits right however I feel the gap is between the two is too big and want it adjusted.

I'm also looking for a TIS or picture of the underside of the trunk lid. I recently found some kind of fluid leaking from a hole from the underside of my trunk lid. I looks like there should be a rubber plug there and maybe the car wash guys accidently knocked it off. The hole is on the underside of the trunk lid closest to the bumper.

Thanks for any help.

To get a closer look at the m-sport front, you'll find a whole load of pics of my rides in my gallery, which you can access via my profile next to my Avatar. It may however make more sense to look at a White or Silver car, as it may be easier to see the gaps -- you find plenty of examples in the Gallery, which you can access at the top of the page.

As for the trunk lid, try using the Search funtion for these pics or search through the Information section of the forum.

Good luck...

Ok, I was able to steal a camera from the GF.

There is the picture of the interior of the trunk lid. The item in question is circled.

Here are a couple pictures of the kit.

When you look up close the gap looks huge!

But from the front the gap doesn't look that bad :getlost:

The shop says the kits fits but I think the gap is too big. I'm contemplating on taking the car to EuroRev to fix. Any opinions.

The fluid you refer to is most likely Cosmoline. Its sprayed all over the car before the trip from Germany on the boat, it is to prevent rust. Even after the car has been prepped for delivery (including removal of Cosmoline), there is still some left that will leak out slowly over the course of years. So your baby isn't "bleeding", and its absolutely normal. :P

Looks fine to me. If you're really concerned about it, do Rodybmw's #2 tip on making the gap even smaller.

So your M-Tech has around the same gap? I bought and used the correct M-Tech foam bumper supports also. :getlost:

I never noticed the hole there before until I notice a trail of what can be described as "oil" running down the middle of my rear bumper. I opened the trunk lid and found the source coming from that hole. I never noticed it before and I've had the car for over a year! :o

I assumed the trunk lid hole was for drainage.
