It was not my intent to offend... I was just curious. I mean I love my car, but I never posted photos except before and after my accident simply because I thought my car was just like so many other's. Again, I apologize if I offended you. You certainly have a car to be proud of. Enjoy!

Nah, I personally can somewhat see where you are coming from. I have a 100% stock 535xi, and while I want to put up pics to show everyone else not on this forum, I think that putting them on here would seem a bit redundant. It would be like "just in case you were to stupid to see it when you were in the BMW dealership the other day, here's my stock 535." Which isn't to say that I'm ashamed of my car, but the enthusiasts on here have done alot to their cars and have put up pics. In comparison to these guys, a stock pic would look kinda weird and out of place. Which reminds me, I need to start a thread real quick.

Couldn't disagree more!
But again, why even bother adding to this post if you don't find it of any value?

Questions, answers and discussion are all very different than a picture that looks like 10,000 other similar cars.

Well, FWIW, stock cars come with different wheels in different countries so it's nice to see what stock looks like in other parts of the world.

Thanks to all the well wishers for the warm welcome to this forum!

As an engineer with a long history of BMW ownership I am looking forward to learning as much as I can about this car and contributing to this forum!

So far am loving this car....

I was going to ask the same thing. I don't put photos of my stock because I don't feel the need to. If there's a problem with my car and someone asks to see a specific area of the car, then yeah. But on a forum about E60s where everyone that owns one on here has pictures in their signatures or their modded rides, posting stock seems like newbie thing to do.

Quite right - I am a newbie, and excited about my new purchase!

Would you like to propose that this forum have a rule that says "NO POSTING OF STOCK E60 PICS"?

Are you saying owners shouldn't be proud of their cars unless it's got tons of mods?

What an arrogant prick you are!
