Hey guys! I just picked up a 545 for my new DD. Well, bought it Saturday, but haven't picked it up yet. It's black on black with the sport package and some gorgeous 20's on it. United BMW had just taken it in on trade, so they are going through it before I pick it up, but I can't wait to get it.
This is my first experience with United and they have been amazing. I got such a good deal on the car that I was expecting to take it "as is", but they wouldn't let me. They're replacing the water pump and thermostat because it has 73,000 miles. They're also replacing the trim around the windshield and back window, changing all fluids and bringing all service up to date, refinishing the rims because of some curb rash, detailing it and replacing a tire because we picked up a nail in the sidewall on our test drive.
After reading a little more about the trans problem on these, I called to make sure they cehcked the mechtronix (sp) and he called me back in about an hour and said they did find a small leak. This was not agreed to be fixed in our original deal, but they are replacing this as well! I haven't ever had this type of experience with a dealership before and I really can't believe all they are doing!
Looking forward to getting more active on the boards, but I'm going to "try" not to mod this one. My "weekend" car is getting the mods, but we'll see how long I can leave this one alone.

Silver with a polished lip. They look nice, but I might try to sell them and get some 19" M6 style in black.
Definitely getting a receipt with the work done. I told them I wanted all items serviced on the work order so I would have it for my records.

As much as I say'm not doing anything to it, there's already too much running though my mind. lol
I like the M style side skirts, but do you think it will look awkward with the side skirts and stock front bumper? Again, I'm trying to do as little to this car as I can since it's my DD and I have other projects going on already.

I have seen a board memer with just the sides and it looks fine to me but it may depend on the color of the car. I can not recall the members username though. That is what I am planing to do initially. I am to scared of getting a front bumper and then damaging it on a driveway.
