2009 BMW 550i M Sport.
I just purchased a pair of expensive PIAA Xtreme white 4150K 35W H8 bulbs for my angel eyes. I did this before reading the forums about excess heat burning the light tubes. My concern is their claim that 35W of power = 70W of light output. I have not installed them yet in fear of burning the tubes and electrical wires. My original thought that 35W was the same as OEM so should be OK, but now I question my logic.
Has anyone run these specific bulbs without problems?
Thanks!

The heat issue is more when people use hid kits In place of halogen/led H8 bulbs. You should be fine with those bulbs.
