Not sure if this was suggested in January during your original posts, but be sure to pursue value depreciation reimbursement from the kids insurance company or you will get hit on it when you go to sell the car. This is assuming that it is not a lease.

That was a nasty accident, glad you are ok and it looks great.

Here are a couple of more photos for those of you who did not see the photos when I posted them in January.
It was a pretty nasty wreck. Thankfully, my wife and 1 yr old daughter were not with me and no one got hurt.
OMG.. thank god you didn't get hurt..and I can't believe they didn't total the car

In the UK this would have certainly been a write off, way too expensive to repair.

I have followed this saga from the beginning. All I can say is that anyone with your patience and understanding deserves the best. It looks like that's what you've got. The car looks as good as new, and it sounds like it's driving well also. What more could you want? Congrats!

Thankfully, mine is leased, so I do not have to worry about that. But great advise!

C'mon, tell the truth jmsod, you definitely miss that little chevy econobox you were driving around in for those few months dont you? Glad to see all's well. It's leased so drive it hard, give it back in due time and get a new one.

Sorry about the photo quality, but both photos were taken with my phone.
It took 4 months to complete, but they did an amazing job. For those of you who do not know the story.... 6 weeks after I got my car, an 18 yr old kid ran a red light and destroyed the front end. I tried and TRIED to get them to total it but since the car was so new that was impossible. The total bill for parts and labor was about $41K !!!

I thought some of you may be interested in seeing the photos. Washed and waxed the car a couple of days ago. I used this stuff: http://www.meguiars.com/?liquid-car-waxes/...ration-Tech-Wax It worked great and easy to use. It took me 1.5 hours to wash and wax.
Looks great. So which collision center did the surgery?

I'll bet you're glad to be driving your "new" e60 again! Looks like Gary and his shop did a great job ... Welcome back to the forum.
