Yesterday evening I washed and put another coat of Pinnacle Souveran on my car. I know it is not spectactular being silver, but it is so nice not noticing the paint defects the way you do with black. This morning I took some photos including a photo of my trunk full of detailing equipment and my Diamond audio bass box and amp. One of the photos is at our farm on Whidbey island. "Tanglewood" is our kennel name. I raise and show German Shepherds as a hobby. The twisty roads on Whidbey island afford an excellent venue for exercising my 550, as it did my M3 and 530.
There is no cure!

Looks excellent.
I have taken to using that same wax on top of Zaino and I think it adds a depth that is lacking with Zaino. Plus, it smells so delicious.
Now, how about some pics of the dogs? (Edit - I see the pic below ... hello Dekker! Great looking Shep.)

Here is a picture of our dog Dekker. His sire is Ch. Tanglewood's Darkside Kengin. I co-own him with a woman in San Diego - up in Julian. So next time I am in Julian I will bring my detailing supplies to help out a fellow forum member with his e60.

Souveran is nice, Zaino is great. Nice MF Towels- Big Blue from Terry at ProperAutoCare I trust? Have you tried Ranney's towels from Pakshack? I swear by them. I recently did the full 15 hour detail routine with Menzerna (shampoo, clay, shampoo, polish, glaze, seal with FMJ), and it's got the warmth of Souveran with the longevity and durability of Zaino.

Cattman,
The vast majority of my microfiber towels are from Ranney at Pakshak. I also have used Menzerna (sp?) polishes, and have tried so many other products. Detailing for me is not so much a hobby as an obsession. I'm just loving the ease of caring for silver, but am not that fond of caring for the 166 M5 wheels. I like the wheels, just not the finish on them.
