My Ride: An 1994 Ashamed-Mobile Partially Loaded, Leather. Radioless, Heatless, Gas-needleless.
No clue what so ever as to what color the car will be. We do know that the interior will be Auburn. (If I could only see it linked with Ti Silver) I have narrowed down the options though. Also 2007 Price List is included.
525i Price $37,300
Sport Pkg = 2500
Premium Pkg = 2000
Navigation = 1600
Rear Airbags = 385 (May cancel due to advice from "Cantona" and "ImolaRedM")
Heated Seats = 500
Bi Xenon = 800
Grand Total 43,785
530i Price 41,000
Sport Pkg = 2800
Premium Pkg = 1800
Navigation = 1600
Rear Airbags = 385 (May cancel due to advice from "Cantona" and "ImolaRedM")
Heated Seats = 500
Grand Total 47,585
$3,000 Difference in price(roughly before and after options). Minus the difference in 40 more Horses between the two engines. My current car has 140HP and No its not a riding lawn mower! Even if I get the 525 I will notice a difference in performance, I'm looking at an increase of HP of 75HP, and 115HP increase for the 530. Oh yeah can't forget that 500 or 200 Plus delivery fee.
If only I can figure out the Exterior and Trim.

My Ride: 2007 Titanium Gray 550i, with sport, nav, HUD, Logic7, sat radio, cold weather, rear side airbags, rear seat heaters, and it goes like a bat outta hell!
hmmm....guessing there was supposed to be a pic there somewhere!!
IMHO........or my .02...whichever suits you...if you are spending that much......get the 530, and you will never second-guess your decision. Both cars drive like a dream, and you will enjoy either one...but if it were me....the price difference wouldn't be enough to keep me out of the 530......Good luck on your decision!! Let us know where you end up

For the money I would go for the 530. Can you get 40 more hp for $3000 in aftermarket upgrades? Maybe Maybe not and then theres the hassle... also then it wont be under warranty.
Also consider resale value for the 530 depending how long you're going to keep the car. If you keep cars like how long I would keep cars it doesnt matter what you buy it'll be worth squat in the end.
As for gas milage... its negligible so forget it.

Personally, I'd have to have the 530i - otherwise you may also wonder if you made the wrong decision.....
If the xtra cost is a prob - I'd just lose a couple of options - rear bags, heated seats - whatever...
