Thanks for all the inputs..seems like a common problem...one would expect better of BMW!
So I am out of warranty and cant get these replaced at the dealer.
Wondering if there is a paint solution that some one has tried? OR if I should buy the Wood trim and try to replace it myself (and how).
Actually BMW should be ashamed of something like this.

Premium cars int's just must not peel after some years.

Leather don't - coated plastic will.

But as a excuse for BMW, some people may use such chemicals
(after shaves, parmufes, drugs) of their hands that the materials
react and peel - but still.

I had my center console radio trim replaced under warranty after it started to peel around the volume knob. Luckily I got the new trim that had the burl wood on the bottom!

Now, 8K out of warranty, I have noticed that both door arms are peeling, the black rubber part on the inside of the door arm. Are these replacable without having to take the whole door apart? Also the windows switch plates on both side are starting to peel. How easy are these to replace?

Part numbers? Rudy?

I know andy545 did a nice paint job on his interior trim
