Thumbs up

Is there a way to adjust the volume of the PDC (Park Distance Control)? The volume knob doesn't seem to affect it.

Ahh. Thanks. I've got an LCI but haven't seen that on the menus. I'll have another look.

jimb0, are you in the UK?

The extract from the user manual is the US version.. wonder if the PDC vol control is just a US thing..

Yes - UK. I did wonder when it mentioned the seatbelt reminder. I've also got navigation, which probably explains why I don't recall this in the menus. I'll double check anyway. Thanks for the info.

The only way I've noticed that mine is silenced altogether in my pre-LCI is when I'm talking on the phone, hand-free. The phone volume comes through the car speakers which is where the PDC beeps come from. I only noticed it the other week when talking to my daughter hand-free whilst reversing. Suddenly noticed that I had almost hit the car behind as there was no beeping which I now rely on rather than the i-drive display.

Maybe if you have a hands-free phone coming through the speakers you can push to talk and silence the beeps even if you are not making or receiving an actual call.

Worth a try. I am in Sweden at the moment on business so cannot try this out 'til I return to the UK on Wednesday.
