Hi all

I have just brought a 2007 535D Sport to replace my 1999 528 Sport. Couple of issues I cannnot solve.

The PDC warning sound is way too loud - can this be turned down?

My Ipod is recognised only occasionally. When it is it plays but most of the time when go to aux nothing there. Have connected the Ipod and left it plugged in so is the works/does not work issue BMW interface related?

Thanks in advance for any help offered

Harry

Don't know if it's the same as mine, a 2008, but I believe if you turn down the volume knob while the PDC is running, it turns down the beeping sound. My volume knob is multi functional. Whatever system you are using, it will turn down the volume of that function... Radio, phone, feedback voice, etc.

My volume control knob will turn down the nav voice and radio etc but won't adjust the volume of the PDC.

You can turn off the volume, but I wouldn't do it.

Does that work with the low temp (snowflake) chime?

How do you turn the volume off while keeping the picture working?

The PDC volume and tone are fixed my friend. No way to change those...how loud are we talking? It's supposed to be standard on all vehicles and mine isn't loud at all...it's loud enough to hear which is what you want but it won't blow your ears off...
