Unhappy PDC problem

Hey guys, I have a problem with PDC which noone was able to help me with for like a year in my country. The problem is, that when i shift into reverse, the PDC detects the objects and beeps, but nothing comes up on iDrive screen. I do even not have PDC option in my iDrive settings

Does anyone have suggestions about what could be wrong? When I was buying the car from dealer, the PDC on iDrive came on, but then never again

Does it work if you're stopped and you press the PDC button?

Sounds like your iDrive isn't configured for PDC although the hardware checks out.

Sounds like it...it worked once when I was buying the car tho'.

Is anyone willing to help me with programming the PDC to the iDrive? Share some NCS files?

I guess you could ignore the problem. When I'm using PDC, I rarely look at the display anyway, I just listen to the beeps from the stereo - they play from the corner the sensor senses.

But I hear you - I like to have ALL of the things working. Once you let one fault persist, others don't get the attention they deserve. (4x4 light has been on on our old X5 for 2 years. Finally got a good scanner and it's saying the SAS is bad. One of these days...)

do you know how to program it? the trick is having the software and such. i can help or you can use NCSdummy which walks you through each option. The CCC also has options to show the PDC on the screen in horizonal or vertical. ....
