Take it in, I just had my car back from the dealer due to the same. One bad sensor would nock off the whole system. They had to order a set from Germany as BMW dealers are no longer allowed to paint them. So it took 2 weeks for mine to arrive from Germany.

TBH not entirely sure, as mine were done under warranty. My best guess is that they come in front or rear sets. Not sure about price.

A cheaper alternative is to buy a set off ebay as they are floating all over and very cheap.

When its dry, or you're in a covered area, check the PDC controller module (and the micro power module) located in the spare tire well down in the trunk. If there is enough moisture down there, you may experience a PDC controller failure, and an eventual failure of the MPM. Do a search for the modules for more info. Hopefully, it's just a bad sensor. Good luck!

One of my rear sensors went under warranty too (the front ones kept working though).

I was quoted two to three weeks for a replacement from Germany - it arrived in a couple of days. The Dealer then wanted me to wait another couple of weeks to fit them - even though I was actually in the dealership. I persuaded the Stores to give me the new one, and I swapped it out on their forecourt - took less than 5 minutes, although I knew how to get at the offending one, and didn't have to take the bumper off!!

They will only change one of them for you.

Mike

Mine just crapped out too
It was raining hard earlier this afternoon. I wonder if the rain has anything to do with this.
My problem is that someone scraped my bumper before and I'm afraid the dealership will try to say that it failed because of that.
