What warning? Can you be more specific as to what the problem is?

Are you aware that you can turn the PDC display on or off in the iDrive settings? Maybe you turned it off? (I don't recall the green light flashing though -- maybe there's a fault of some sort?)

Mine does it intermittantly also. I works fine most of the time, but occassionally when I select reverse, the same warning message comes up, and the green light on the pdc button starts flashing.
But actually, the sensors are still working. To clear the alarm, just stand close to the front or rear sensor, and you can hear the pdc tone in the car. The alarm then automatically clears itself.

Obviously it's not as god intended, but I'm just living with it until I can get it booked into the dealership.
I have an OEM removable towbar fitted, and they had to reprogamme the control module for the PDC so that the rear PDC is disabled when some trailer electrics are detected. The programming failed twice, so they told me they had to replace the module.

I've only seen the problem since then....
